Three to five days before the operation discontinue any aspirins, vitamins and other medication containing aspirin or analogous products, including anticoagulants, antiaggregants (consult your cardiologist if you take such medication).
No alcoholic beverages should be consumed on the day before the operation.
Two weeks before the transplantation discontinue all hair growth products that you may be taking – Minoxidil, Regaine and any analogous products.
Carefully wash your hair – on the evening before the operation and on the morning of the transplantation.
Do not cut your hair before the operation.
Before the operation take care to rest well and have breakfast (lunch) as usual without overeating.
On the day of the operation bring a baseball cap.
Tight-fitting knit hats are not recommended.
Three to four days before hair transplantation you need to carry out the following tests:
– Blood tests (complete blood count)
– Blood sugar
– Blood coagulation time and bleeding time
– Hepatitis B blood test (HbsAg)
– Hepatitis C blood test (anti-HCV)
– Antibody syphilis test (RW), HIV antibody test (HIV 1/2)
– Electrocardiogram, as prescribed
